The Aviary is perfect for hosting smaller, more intimate wedding receptions. We can seat up to 20 for a traditional wedding breakfast, or up to 35 guests for drinks and canapés. With its large glass doors, The Aviary is a light and airy room with plenty of hanging plants.

The Mess is the perfect space for those wanting to celebrate their wedding day with drinks and canapés, or a mouth-watering sharing menu. With its own cocktail bar, comfy armchairs. and central cast iron fireplace, it’s the ideal space for celebrating.

The Glass House is our largest room, with plenty of natural light. This space can easily be tailored to your needs, from seated dining to an extravagant dance floor. Guests can also spill out onto our decking area too if you opt to hire this too.

Booked The Mess private room for relaxed and informal food & drinks for my wedding. Great room. Typical English atmosphere and choice of food. Dedicated member of staff for us all night: Will who, by the way, was absolutely great! Friendly and helpful! Kudos to him to make us feel so comfortable. Everyone absolutely loved it!!! I have no worlds to describe my satisfaction’ ,everyone and everything was absolutely amazing. It was our wedding party and I could not change a thing ! I love the room , the food the drinks !!! Amazing!! We had our small wedding reception here and Mike and his team were incredible. So attentive and helpful. Our guests were completely blown away too and full of nothing but compliments. Could not fault at all. Thank you so much for a wonderful day and making it so easy.

I had my wedding dinner and post drinks celebration and I recommend anyone tying the knot (specially if in Woolwich Town Hall which is 4 min away) to celebrate there!!! Peter was an absolute gem, taking care of us as if we were family. The food was top notch, we went for the set menu, everything was super organised and the inside of it is so authentic and beautiful. We then ordered finger food and more drinks for friends that joined later. A big shout out to Suki who has been the orchestrator of the evening, pouring all her efforts to ensuring we are happy and on schedule and that we are being taken care of every second of the evening. A big thank you to the whole staff behind the food, the venue, the music and all logistics. You made our special day a most memorable and perfect one ❤️

Is there parking on-site?

Unfortunately we do not have a car park. The nearest car park can be found at New Warren Lane, London, SE18 6BG which is next to the Premier Inn. This is a pay and display parking lot.

Where is the nearest station?

The nearest stations are Woolwich via the Elizabeth Line and Royal Arsenal via DLR.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately our pub is located up a set of steps.

Can we extend our celebration past closing time?

We can make a limited number of extensions per calendar year, so these are subject to availability. Please let us know if you’d be interested in an extended celebration when enquiring.

Are you dog-friendly?

Yes, we love dogs and welcome you to bring yours! We just ask that they be kept on a lead at all times.

Can I bring my own food & drink?

We supply and cater for all the food and drinks for your event from our venue. You are more than welcome to bring your own wedding cake if you wish
